The iMotor™ can be delivered in both a rotary and a linear version to cover both manual switching principles. The product range provides an easy adaption of existing manually operable Switchgear and combines modern technologies to provide a remotely operable intelligent interface for the modern Electrical Distribution Network. Functionality The operation of the iMotor™ is adjusted to a specific switchgear (limit switches). By means of an Open or Close command the iMotor™ will perform a full switching cycle. The current switch position will be indicated and transmitted back to the iCom™. Quick Release™ The iMotor™ is equipped with a hand operated Quick Release™ to select between Local and Remote operation. In Local mode the Switchgear can be operated manually with the original operation handle. In Remote mode the iMotor™ will performe an automatic switching.
